What is your lead time?
There are many things that affect our lead times, type of work, quantity of order, current work load, staffing, etc, but we generally allow 5 working days days from order (payment). More often than not orders are ready before this and as soon as they are we will contact you.
What are your payment terms?
We require payment in full at the time of ordering for all goods machined to order. Stock items that require no machining can be paid for upon collection. We also offer a 30 day credit account to approved trade customer (upon application).
What payment methods do you take?
Off site we can only take payment by BACS (bank transfer). On site we take all major cards (including Amex) with PIN entry only. We do not take cash as payment.
Do you have parking?
Yes we have a yard you can park in when visiting or collecting from us.
Can I send in a courier to collect on my behalf?
Yes you can, please ensure they have the name you used when placing your order or better still our sales order number.
Can we collect Saturday am?
Collections on Saturday a.m.’s are by appointment only. This will be for pre-paid orders only and cannot be any alterations or additions on collection. Our trade counter doesn’t open Saturday a.m., we only have a maintenance team working.
Will you machine my timber?
Yes we can machine your free issue new timber. We will not machine any second hand / used timber or anything that has a varnish or coating on it.
Can I have any offcuts from the cut sheets?
Yes you can but we would need to know this at the point of ordering, if not offcuts are usually disposed of at the point of being cut.
Can I come in and choose my boards or timber?
Customers are very welcome to visit us in person and this is preferable if special selection is required.
